The European Mobility Week

The Krka National Park is joining the celebration of the European Mobility Week, a manifestation that takes place from the 16th to the 22nd of September

with the intention of raising public awareness about improving the quality of life through actively spending time outdoors.

From September 16 to 22, visitors to the Skradin bridge – Skradinski buk waterfall educational hiking trails (4 km) and the Stinice – Roški slap waterfall – Oziđana pećina cave trail (8.5 km) will be entitled to a reduced ticket price at the Skradin bridge and Visovac “Kuželj" House reception points: from 65 kn for adults and 35 kn for children from seven to eighteen years old for the entire Park or 35 kn for adults and 25 kn for children from seven to eighteen years old only for the Roški slap waterfall site (at the Visovac “Kuželj” House).

The European Mobility Week event is organized by the European Union, Environment DG, with the aim of increasing public awareness and stimulating the activities of citizens against environmental pollution caused by increases in motorized traffic in urban areas, thereby improving the quality of life of residents of European cities. This year's European Mobility Week, with the slogan Walk with Us, emphasizes safe walking and cycling, and the benefits they have, in addition to adaptability, for human health and the environment.

Cycling is not only an environmentally friendly method of transportation but also a healthy and fun sport activity. As such, we are also promoting the Krka Trophy, a fun cycling marathon that will take place on September 28th. With aim of enjoying nature, beautiful landscapes, and the mystical Promina Mountain, the Krka Trophy will be ridden on four routes of various lengths, adapted for both recreational and professional cyclists. The start and finish of all four races – the Drniš Onslaught, Promina Patrol, Harambasha Escape, and Promina AM (all mountain) – will be in Drniš.
