Prevention measures with the aim of protecting the health

Krka National Park is open and operating in accordance with authority recommendations.

Prevention measures have been taken with the aim of protecting the health of all visitors and employees, and all relevant information and guidelines are being monitored, and will form the basis of further action.

After it was made public that persons in the Republic of Croatia have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, the Public Institute of Krka National Park has taken all the necessary measures and activities to protect the health of visitors, employees, partners and collaborators. All measures and actions are aligned with the newest recommendations and instructions of the Ministry of Health, Public Health Institute and the Civil protection staff of Šibenik-Knin County.

All events at Krka National Park scheduled for March and early April have been postponed. These were primarily activities to commemorate World Water Day on 22 March, and the 3rd Krka Half-Marathon, scheduled for 4 April, which brings together many participants and visitors. The participation of the staff of the Public Institute of Krka National Park at tourism fairs in Croatia and abroad has also been cancelled.

Krka National Park is open for visitors in accordance with the recommendations of expert service. The localities Skradinski buk and Roški slap with their accompanying presentation content are open to visitors daily from 9 am to 5 pm, according to the schedule for this time of year.

We are continually monitoring information and guidelines of the authorities and are forwarding all pertinent information to park staff and our associates. They have also received clear information about how to act in certain situations. We are also taking all necessary measures and doing all we can to protect not only our visitors, but also our staff, partners and associates during regular activities in Krka National Park.

We will be sure to immediately inform you of any changes in the operations of Krka National Park via the website.

Finally, we wish to emphasize that responsible behaviour, acting in line with the instructions, and implementing preventative measures is to protect health, ours and yours!
