Book Night is an event that will be held on 21 April 2017 for the sixth time in Croatia, as part of the celebration of Croatian Book Day and World Book and Copyright Day.
This year, the Public Institute of Krka National Park is joining in to celebrate these important dates through its involvement in the event Book Night, aimed at stimulating a reading culture, discussions on literature, and everything that books represent in our contemporary world.
The Public Institute of Krka National Park is also going to celebrate the World Earth Day.
By celebrating Earth Day, an attempt is made to alert the public to the dangers that threaten life on Earth, and the necessity to protect the environment and preserve biodiversity and favorable conditions for the coexistence of man and nature. The rapid development of industry has led to an increase in demand for energy and to an increased use of fossil fuels and the release of large amounts of toxic substances into the ground and the air. Through responsible behavior on a daily basis, we can all contribute to the preservation of biodiversity, which we leave to future generations.
We invite you to join us at 10:30 am on 21 April 2017 at the Juraj Šižgorić Library in Šibenik, and to learn about the importance of recycling in the recycled paper-making workshop!
