World Environment Day is celebrated on 5 June, to commemorate the day in 1972 when the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment was held in Stockholm, where the United Nations Environmental Programme was adopted. This year, the official topic at the global level to celebrate World Environment Day is #BeatAirPollution, and the main country host is China.
